Legal Services

Objective To provide legal services to the hospital This Unit will perform the following activities: - (i) Provide legal support services to the Hospital; (ii) Draft contracts and carry out review of contract which the Hospital is party of in liaison with the Office of Attorney General; (iii) Carry out litigation matters on behalf of the Hospital in liaison with Office of Attorney General; (iv) Be custodian of all Hospital legal and statutory documents including Hospital Seal; (v) Coordinate preparation of areas of development and review of civil aviation and staff regulations; (vi) Assist the Hospital Management in the interpretation of laws, policies, procedures, Government circulars and notices. (vii) Provide secretariat services to the Hospital’s Board of Trustees and its committees and follow up implementation of resolutions passed in meetings; and (viii) Draft and scrutinize leases and transfer of property. This Unit will be led by a Head.
