World Tuberculosis Day is observed annually on 24 March to raise awareness about the global impact of tuberculosis and to accelerate efforts toward ending TB.
At Kibong’oto Infectious Disease Hospital (KIDH), this day highlights our role in advanced TB diagnostics, drug-resistance testing, antimicrobial resistance surveillance, and collaborative research.
Through our state-of-the-art BSL-3 laboratory and partnerships, we continue to support national TB control efforts and strengthen public health response systems in Tanzania
